Favorite spots in Little Italy and Fells Point

One of the things we love most about being located in the Harbor East / Little Italy neighborhood is how much life and tradition is packed into these few walkable blocks. Whether you're visiting us from one of the nearby hotels, taking a stroll along the Inner Harbor waterfront promenade, or you're a local who just discovered us — this neighborhood has something for every mood, every hour, and every appetite. We've been getting to know our neighbors, and here are some of our favorites.
Where to Eat:
Amadeo's (Italian Eatery) - A revived Little Italy gem run by husband-and-wife team Brenna and Chef Danny. Homemade pasta, thoughtful cocktails (the Italian American is a must), and a warmth that makes every visit feel like dinner at a friend's place.
Cinghiale (Nothern Italian) - A Harbor East anchor for elevated Northern Italian dining. The Lasagna Marchigiana is excellent, the wine list is serious, and the occasional Opera Salon dinner is one of those only-in-Baltimore experiences.
Harbor Tandoor (Indian & Nepali) - Generous, flavorful, and consistently wonderful Indian and Nepalese restaurant. Everything is delicious, but the chicken jhol momo and samosa chaat are regulars for us. The staff are genuinely welcoming — the kind of place that remembers you.
Isabella's Brick Oven - An old school Italian deli tucked into Little Italy, turning out incredible brick oven sandwiches and pizza slices. The "Scooch" sandwich has been called the best in Baltimore. A perfect lunch stop.
Taco Fiesta - A lively Mexican spot with generous portions, a spectacular salsa bar, and the kind of casual energy that just makes you happy. The al pastor tacos and chicken burritos have earned a loyal following — and the outdoor seating on a nice day is hard to beat.
Coffee / Bakery:
Ovenbird Bakery - Bakers who genuinely care — fresh-made English muffins, flaky croissants, and the best breads in town. A wonderful spot to settle in with your laptop or meet a friend over coffee and something warm from the oven.
Vacarros Italian Pastry - A Little Italy institution. Come for the cannoli, the cappuccino, and a proper Italian dessert moment. A neighborhood staple that feels like part of the fabric of this community.
Kneads Cafe - A beautifully designed cafe, open seven days a week from 7am. Great for coffee & treat to go, or a leisurely brunch.
Happy Hour & Evening Drinks:
Sisu Bar & Bottles - A small, couple-owned wine bar. Kate and Chris curate a thoughtful selection of wines, spirits, and charcuterie — plus complimentary seasoned popcorn. Walk in a stranger, leave like a regular.
Ministry of Brewing - An excellent craft brewery lovingly built inside a historic church. Soaring ceilings, well-crafted pints, live music, and a sense of community that feels truly special. A must-visit for anyone new to the neighborhood.
Southpaw - A neighborhood gem in Fells Point. The cocktails are creative and seriously crafted — the happy hour Sazerac is worth the trip. Low-key, welcoming, and the kind of bar you end up at more often than you planned.
